2. The European 6th framework Marie Curie Research Training Network “XTRA” (XUV for Time-Resolved and Non-Linear Applications) will hold its network meeting as a part of ICOMP.

3. The advanced laser light source (ALLS) will celebrate its official opening during ICOMP. ALLS aims to image fast molecular dynamics in chemical and biological media. ALLS will be a unique $20,000,000 research facility for imaging molecular dynamics. Please see, for example:
